Pages from nature guides, the spine from a birding book, a map of Dingle Bay, fossil index papers, papyrus, map of the Lake District in England, and old handwritten letter, acrylic on panel. Foraging through my collections, a birding theme appeared from the nature ephemera I had collected. A flycatcher is transferred onto fossil index pages from the 1800s, bird eggs are transferred and handcolored, an evening grosbeak page from a birding book is collaged on, and nest and wing diagrams are screened on top of the painted and collaged portions.
